 Front Desk Concierge



Job Summary


Responsible for providing a positive first and last impression to guests when they arrive and leave the community by attending to residents and guests needs. Parks and retrieves vehicles in a safe and timely manner. Provide administrative support and set up/break down of daily events. The Concierge also performs other services for guests/customers, which may involve tasks such as receiving packages for residents or ensuring that a resident’s dry cleaning is picked up or dropped off.


Essential Functions




(Duties include but are not limited to:)


o   Proactively approaches, greets and acknowledges guests in a friendly and professional manner. Open vehicle door(s) and offers assistance as appropriate.


o   Interacts with residents and guests in a friendly and courteous manner, providing assistance and directions as requested.


o   Responsible for setup and break down of daily events. Including tables, chairs, audio/visual and any other required equipment for events, meetings and special interest groups.


o   Parks and retrieves resident vehicles in specified areas in a safe and efficient manner.


o   Provides package and grocery delivery services to residents/guest units.


o   Books guestrooms and ensures all paperwork and billing is correct. 


o   Comfortable answering phones and transferring calls to the appropriate departments.


o   Signs resident’s guests in and out.


o   Provides accurate and timely documentation and reports of departmental activities and status including activity logs, vehicle damage, statements, and conditions which require attention and/or repair. While driving resident vehicles, obeys all traffic laws on and off property.


o   Collects items to be stored for Employee Rummage Sales.


 


Required Qualifications :
 

Skills/Requirements:


o   Professional customer service skills.


o   Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.


o   Time management and time critical prioritization skills.


o   Be on your feet for 8+ hours.


o   Valid Driver's License with driving experience.


 Work Conditions:


·        Non-Typical office environment (frequent standing, walking, talking, etc.), both inside activities and outside activities.


·        Frequent social interaction


·        Overtime as-needed


·        Lift up to 50 lbs with a team member.

Education and Experience


High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required. Prior Customer Service and/or driver experience preferred. Prior experience working with senior preferred.


Hours per week:  40 hrs (unless overtime is approved)
