Payroll Administrator
Major Luxury Car Dealership is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator in their San Antonio market. The ideal candidate will have high character and a strong work ethic.
The payroll administrator is responsible for:
Receive, enter, and process payroll for employees in the organization
Review payroll reports and timesheets for correctness before payroll transactions
Remit tax payments to the appropriate governing authorities on a timely and accurate basis
Process and monitor garnishment orders and other issues that impact payroll specifications; and, remit necessary payments to appropriate parties
Respond to payroll queries from employees in a timely manner
Maintain employee payroll records and timesheet data for future references
Manage employee on-boarding for new hires
Process and remit quarterly reports on a timely and accurate basis
Process and remit W2s on a timely and accurate basis
Maintain accurate accounting records for all matters related to payroll processing
Assist internal auditors with inquiries and annual external audits
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in payroll processing and administration
Knowledge of accounting fundamentals required
Automotive experience preferred
Ability and willingness to work extended hours when necessary
Willingness to travel between dealership locations
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge of mathematical principles and application (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and percentage calculations); word processing, intermediate spreadsheet and database maintenance
Ability to communicate in a professional manner on the phone, internet and in person
Use of standard office equipment
Strong work ethic with commitment to high energy performance, quality and service excellence

Software's used are Excel, Kronos, and CDK. Having experience in these software's would be great but not necessary if you have experience with the payroll functions noted above.
